DIY Snow-woman

DIY Snow-woman

I've been seeing a lot of snowmen this holiday season but where are all the snow ladies at?!

I've partnered with Offray Ribbon and Buttons.com today to show you how you can decorate your own Snow-woman for the holidays, regardless of whether or not it's snowing where you live. đŸ˜‰ This is a pretty quick and easy DIY and it's also perfect to give as a handmade gift! I mean look at that pom pom trim...

Now grab your supplies - but you can hold off on the mittens - it's time to get making!

What You'll Need

Silver Glitter Ribbon

Pink Pom Pom Ribbon

Silver Star Buttons

White Snowflake Buttons

You can shop these and even more ribbons + buttons online at Offray.com + Buttons.com - or find them in stores at your local Joann like I did!

3 Tiered Snow-woman Base

Scissors + Heavy Duty Glue

Wooden Carrot Nose

Sticker Eyelashes

Blue Wool

Paper Mache Caroler Hat

Pink Paint + Paintbrush

How To

Step 1) Cut your pink pom pom ribbon so that you end up with 3 pieces that wrap around each layer of your snow-woman like in the image above. For the top piece, make sure to include a little extra ribbon to make it look like she's wearing a scarf. Glue those on and then attach two silver star buttons, too.

Step 2) Grab your blue wool and craft up a hairdo for your snow-woman. I layered her hair on piece by piece and rolled in a few sections with my fingers to create little curls. This part can be really fun and you can get creative with it! I did not glue down the hair on my snow-woman but you can glue yours if you'd like.

Step 3) Paint your paper mache caroler hat pink and let it dry. Then, glue a piece of silver glitter ribbon onto it like in the image above.

Step 4) Glue the paper mache hat onto your snow-woman's hair and then add her lashes and carrot nose, too. Complete her frosty look by attaching white snowflake buttons into her hair.

Isn't she just adorable?!
